Our Legacy & Mission

About Our Institution

Accredited dual curriculum of Qur'anic Memorization (Tahfeez) and standard academic foundations in Ile-Ife.

Established Since 2013 in Ile-Ife

Rowdotu-T-Tanzeel Tahfeez and Arabic School is dedicated to Quranic and Arabic education. It was established in response to the local Muslim community's desire for an academic approach to the teaching of Quranic recitation, memorization, and understanding of the Arabic language. The school's goal is to produce devout Huffazul Quran with strong moral values.

Our Track Record Since Inception

150+Quran Recitation Experts
72Huffadh (Idaadiyyah Certificate)
17Thannawiyyah Graduates
GlobalForeign Inst. Bound Students

Since the establishment of the Madrasah, we have trained over 150 experts in Quran recitation, 72 Huffadh with Idaadiyyah certificate and 17 graduates of Thannawiyyah. We have also trained students who travelled beyond the shores of Nigeria to foreign educational institutions in Egypt, Asia, Europe, and elsewhere.

NBAIS Approved

First Approved Arabic School

We became the first government-approved Arabic school in Ile-Ife with the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS), and 10 of our students sat for the exam in 2024. NBAIS is comparable to the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO). Students with NBAIS results can seek admission into Nigerian universities.

Ministry of Education Observation

During the approval process by the Ministry of Education, it was observed that the madrasah is well equipped in both Arabic and conventional education. A separate department carries responsibility for delivering quality western education to the students.

This means that by the end of the 7-year programme, students will be qualified to attain the Basic Education Certificate (BECE), WASSCE, NECO and NBAIS certificates.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to produce future leaders and Islamic scholars who are embodiments of Islamic values and character.

VISION STATEMENT

To be a leading Qur’anic memorization and Islamic educational institute in Nigeria.
